Dr. Randall Thomas joined the Clintonville and Dublin Foot and Ankle Group in July 2014. He has extensive training and knowledge in all aspects of foot and ankle care.

   “I welcome the opportunity to work for a practice which has been built on integrity, patient centered care, and surgical excellence. I offer complete care of any and all foot and ankle ailments from conservative care to the latest advancements in foot and ankle surgery. I feel it’s my responsibility to create a custom treatment plan tailored to each patient based on my comprehensive training and only perform surgery on patients when it’s necessary. I look forward to helping the community and guiding patients through the healing process.”

A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Dr. Thomas received his undergraduate degree from the University of New England. During college Dr. Thomas competed in Men's Varsity Basketball. He then received his medical degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Health Sciences in Miami, Florida, where he was a member of the Dean’s List.

Dr. Thomas completed his Residency training at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio in which he trained with over thirty-five Attending Podiatric and Orthopedic Surgeons. During his three year residency Dr. Thomas performed more than 2,000 foot and ankle surgical procedures. In addition Dr. Thomas has completed rotations in Internal and Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Vascular Medicine, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Pathology, Dermatology, Behavioral Health and Palliative Care, Pain Management, Wound Care and Hyperbarics. Dr. Thomas has accepted a Faculty appointment at Grant Medical Center in which he will be involved in the education of Residents. 


Dr. Thomas resides in Central Ohio with his wife, who is an Internal Medicine Physician, and children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, and outdoor activities.
